Stewing Beef

Our diced stewing beef is a versatile cut that is great for stews, pies and casseroles. We use cuts from the chuck and shoulder, all harder-working muscles but meltingly tender when slow-cooked.

Our top tip is to cook your meal the day before eating to intensify all the flavours of your dish. We like to make a simple but rich beef stew with thick-cut onions, a good red wine and porcini mushrooms.
